I am always experimenting and looking for new and exciting ways to make a painting.

The idea was to create quick construction works without caring if they were archival or how long they would last. I wanted the freedom of putting the pieces together fast, so I nailed and glued the wood elements and taped the cutout paper pieces. The goal was to use these little 3-d sketches as jumping-off points for making a painting. They are also mockups for future large 3-dimensional pieces.
